Tree Lighting and Concert

Join the Chievres community for their annual tree lighting.  Sing holiday carols, warm up with some hot beverages and wait for the special guest to arrive on a big red firetruck, USAG Benelux style!

Immediately after the tree lighting, enjoy a free country music concert with Danika Portz, brought to you by Armed Forces Entertainment and USAG Benelux MWR.

Nashville singer/songwriter, Danika Portz and her music has been described as a mixture of Kacey Musgraves and Katy Perry, with a voice on par with Norah Jones.

Her vocals have been featured on CBS’s Big Brother as well as the theme song for MTV’s Virgin Territory. Danika has been interviewed and featured in Country Weekly, MusicRow, and BILLBOARD Magazines.

Danika has performed at CMA Fest, Hard Rock Cafes and Casinos, many colleges and universities around the US, Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe and Wildhorse Saloon, has opened for hit acts like Dan+Shay and David Cook, and has headlined her two Armed Forces Entertainment tours to SW Asia. Her hit single, My Superhero, was written about that experience and she has teamed up with wounded Iraq War Vet and former Dancing With The Stars finalist Noah Galloway’s No Excuses Charity to donate the proceeds from the song.
