LET’S GET PHYSICAL!

Did you know May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month?  Service members, their Families, and communities – they all work better and thrive when they’re physically and mentally fit.  

With summer approaching, it’s the perfect time to improve everyone’s fitness with the 14th Anniversary of STRONG B.A.N.D.S. sponsored by Military Star Card and Discover!

STRONG B.A.N.D.S. – STRONG Balance, Activity, Nutrition, Determination and Strength – promotes healthy, active lifestyles for Army communities. It helps motivate Service members, Families, Retirees and Civilians to get and stay fit.

Here's Chievres Schedule:
1-9 May (Balance): Our Wednesday ab class will be balance-focused. Anyone coming to the class will get some STRONG B.A.N.D.S. swag.

10-16 May (Activity): Anyone coming to any of our regularly-scheduled fitness classes during the week will get some STRONG B.A.N.D.S. swag.

17-23 May (Nutrition): Caitlin and I will put on a virtual nutrition information session. Date and time are currently TBD. Marketing request will be updated with more information once I have it.

24-30 May (Determination): We will do an additional push for our Operation: Accountability program. Anyone signing up during the week will get STRONG B.A.N.D.S. swag. If we could do an additional push of this on social media, we'll also be pushing it locally in the facility.

31 May-6 Jun (Strength): We will put a focus on our 500, 1000, 1500 pound club. Anyone completing their lifts during the week will get some STRONG B.A.N.D.S. swag. I will put in a separate marketing request for this program to be revamped as a whole.1-9 May (Balance): Our Wednesday ab class will be balance-focused. This year's theme, LET’S GET PHYSICAL! is retro this year, but the time is NOW to stay active and participate in Family and MWR events during the STRONG B.A.N.D.S. five-week campaign, from May 1- June 6!!  MWR can help you stay active and learn more about how to improve your body, mind and total health, not only during STRONG B.A.N.D.S., but throughout the year..
