The Army Volunteer Corps (AVC) connects people with volunteer opportunities that support the military community. Volunteers help programs serve service members, families, retirees, survivors, and civilians - while gaining experience and building skills along the way.
You are part of the Army Volunteer Corps any time you volunteer with an approved program organization on post or in the local community.
Whether you want to volunteer a few hours or take on an ongoing role, AVC helps you find opportunities that fit your interests and schedule.
Who Can Volunteer
Many members of the military community volunteer, including family members, retirees, survivors, veterans, and eligible DoW ID card holders. Each volunteer position sets its own requirements.
