The kennel's goal is to provide your pet with the very best care and environment possible while they are their guest.  All U.S. and NATO ID card holders are welcome!

The kennel offers boarding, doggy daycare, and also has a professional groomer on-site. 

The Chievres Library is the perfect location to catch up on your reading, audio books and more!  The library, located in the Chievres Activity Community Center, is handicapped assessible, has an after hours book drop, areas for work or lounging, reference assistance, InterLibrary loan program and free Wifi.  

Ages 6 weeks-Kindergarten*

 CDCs are on-post child care centers that offer full-day, part-day and hourly care for children in nationally accredited environments. Before/Afterschool Preschool follows the published SHAPE Belgian Kindergarten Schedule. 

Sports and Fitness Programs provide team sports, individual sports, fitness and health programs and, programming at Child Development Centers, School Age and Youth Programs. Pre-registration is required for Sports and Fitness Programs. Children and youth that are currently registered in CYS can be enrolled in Sports and Fitness using WebTrac.

The National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) has a website for evaluation of coaches. Parents have the opportunity to evaluate coaches on the NAYS website. Parents must have the coach member number to rate their coach. You can get this number from the CYS Sports and Fitness office. 

Employment Readiness helps people find the perfect job in USAG Benelux communities. 

The Family Advocacy Program provides education, intervention and assistance to prevent family violence and to support strong, self-reliant families and communities. FAP has multiple prevention and education programs and provides services to anyone with installation access.

Financial Readiness teaches money management to help you take control of your finances.

IR&FP provides Commanders, Soldiers and Families with information regarding military and civilian community resources.

Extracurricular Instructional Classes

Local National Instructors needed for gymnastics, swimming, martial arts, cooking, piano, guitar, language teacher, etc.

SKIES Unlimited stands for “School of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration and Skills” with the word “Unlimited” for the unlimited possibilities that this program provides children and youth: 

• All participants must be registered with CYS
• On-going enrollment for most classes (New students may need to wait for open enrollment)
• Currently enrolled SKIES students will be automatically re-enrolled into the next session for most classes to retain their space. Payment for the session must be made before the first day of class.
• Classes will be filled on a first paid basis.

Children and Youth that are currently registered in CYS may be able to enroll for some of the SKIES classes using WebTrac.

Family and MWR Marketing supports Family and MWR programs and events, and manages the website, social media pages, outdoor marquees, and indoor monitors. Marketing also oversees the Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising Program.
